It does not look like I will be able to look at the Sphinx part of CSS
soon, it's quite a big amount of work and (to be honest) I like the
current look more.

It'd be great to update the site's CSS to use the newest from
developer.ubuntu.com.
https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/apps/qml/tutorials/building-your-
first-qml-app/ for example is really nice to read and easy on the
eyes.
