I was following the guide wanting to fix a bug in plasmate (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasmate/+bug/1464910). Checking out and branching the code worked fine ( bzr branch ubuntu:plasmate), but as soon as I made a change I would get: dpkg-source: info: local changes detected, the modified files are: plasmate-1.0/plasmate/CMakeLists.txt dpkg-source: error: aborting due to unexpected upstream changes, see /tmp/plasmate_1.0-0ubuntu4.diff.Rj0MXp dpkg-source: info: you can integrate the local changes with dpkg-source --commit Well, I ran `dpkg-source --commit` and got dpkg-source: error: no upstream tarball found at ../plasmate_1.0.orig.tar.{bz2,gz,lzma,xz} I am at wits end after searching everywhere for an answer. I think the guide has to be updated to include this scenario and a solution to it. I can't be the only one running into it. ➤ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available.
