pls download the latest ubuntu 9.10 and install GYACHE or gyachi in order for 
you to have the video and voice chat...

Hi Guys,

Please help me on how to have a software on how to video chat in ubuntu...my 
camera is microsoft vx3000 and mic is logitech.? I am in Canada and is so 
expensive to buy XP Pro...When I was in the Philippines I used ubuntu 8.10 and 
I still have my live CD with me.? I wanted to install ubuntu 8.10 and was 
worried I cannot communicate in the Philippines anymore with video chat.

Try Skype on Ubuntu first. There's a native version. Another easy fix  
would be mebeam.com :)
