You can look at phablet-dev-bootstrap script in /usr/bin and see exactly what
it does, it pretty much initializes the repo, syncs it and then starts the
build process if you have a supported device. I prefer to do all the steps
manually myself.
The problem is not directly with the server, but with the huge amount of
connections we got over the past few days.
Give it a try again, as I hope it should be better now. Also, in case
you have a CyanogenMod repo available at your host, use the --reference
at phablet-dev-bootstrap (or repo itself), as that will only download
the differences between both repos.
