Hi all! Unless something changed in the latest images, in order to make an application visible one needs to add the --desktop_file_hint=... parameter when launching it. This raises a couple of questions: - why is this needed? - will it go away? (if so, can I be of help?)
I currently have an application which starts another application, and even if adding another parameter is not difficult, it annoys me to have to modify the code and build system to accomodate it.
