And here's the summary for this week.
The highlights:
- Maliit keyboard replaced the Nemo keyboard.
- Long press on Running Application lens previews allows to close apps.
- Progress integrating GStreamer for hardware video rendering using the
Ubuntu Application API and the Android video driver.
Interesting work:
- sdk:
- Rotation support added.
- new sources:
- ppa:ubuntu-unity/daily-build-next transitionary for landing into the
archive.
- Daily release for all original _core_ applications
- hud:
- New hud release.
Known issues:
- Cannot close apps with hud.
- Some applications fail to launch (i.e.: notes-app, gallery, camera-app, ...)
- Stabilization in progress for new daily-build-next ppa.
