And here's the summary for this week. These are the things that have been going on: - When updating images, the users home and the network settings are backed up and restored during updates so information is not lost while keeping up to date (task to help out with making the devices a daily driver). - Update zip modified to call shell script for more versatibility. - Devices switched USB settings to adb only. - New fastboot and adb packages with the correct device IDs for udev, package in archives for saucy and in ppa:phablet-team/tools for precise and raring. - New Qt release, 5.0.2; qtwebkit was leftout due to DPR regressions[1]. - Planning on migrating to saucy by default. - MTP code removed from git repos. - platform-api refactor almost complete, which will bring in application lifecycle. - powerd work in progress to enhance battery life, with triggers such as turning the screen off when idle and turn it on with incoming calls (also part of the daily driver work).
