Thanks for clearing this up, Oliver! I mostly know what I have to change, but I thought I should test things first to verify that it all works, before making a merge proposal of code that breaks ;) But in this case, I didn't know until now that I'm not able to build the initrd.img myself easily. I'll file a bug then.
