While I tend to my own dev tools to edit my code, I use QtCreator initially for the templated setup (eg Ubuntu/Simple Touch UI, Ubuntu/QML Extension Library + Tabbed Touch UI, etc). I have appreciated that it also sets up the build for me (though it stills needs twiddling to work correctly for compiled code[1]). If it can default to CMake that would be fantastic-- if not, can we find a way through some tool to take advantage of the templates in QtC but that sets up the build and everything else the way it should be?
