Hi, rsalveti pushed changes for the 4G version of Nexus 7, deb, to gerrit, but I've been told there won't be deb images on s-i.ubuntu.com. So, I've set-up my s-i.tasemnice.eu to build them alongside the hammerhead images. People are reporting that the mobile data work, although the GUI to set APN information is not present yet. The information about the server are the same as for hammerhead, but let's not have you looking for that other e-mail:
* Address: http://system-image.tasemnice.eu * Channels: trusty and trusty-proposed, both are set-up so that their version numbers correspond with those on system-image.ubuntu.com. When there is a new image on s-i.ubuntu.com, there'll be new one with the same version number on my server within an hour or two. The device parts are built every night (if something changes) and they don't trigger new image build - new device tarball will simply be in the next image, whenever that happens. * How to install it to your device: ubuntu-device-flash --channel trusty --bootstrap=true --server="http://system-image.tasemnice.eu"; * Custom changes: 1. MIR is turned on by default 2. Backported system-image client rev. 242, to support servers without https protocol * cdimage-like server with device partition images: http://cdimage.tasemnice.eu * IMPORTANT: I have no idea how many people will it handle. It is a crappy VPS, I even had to buy upgrade for it because it originaly didn't have enough disc space. It's traffic is "unlimited" (it uploaded 740GB over the course of 3 days already, btw), but it's connected via just 100Mb line, and I'm not sure about international connectivity (it is in Central Europe, Czech Republic).
