Hi everyone! First of all, it seems that due to a trivial mistake my yesterdays landing e-mail got rejected from the mailing-list - I apologize for that.
Today is the last day of our sprint so starting next week we are back with a standard, less chaotic mode of operation. Robert will be back as your US timezone landing host, so we should have full coverage as we had before. No image has been promoted for today. As many of you know there has been a breakage in touch images, caused by a left-over problem from the hot-fix uploaded tomorrow. Thanks to the quick reaction of the foundation developers this has been resolved and #56 is now in completely usable state. Image #55 had a workaround in place, such that we can quickly provide a -proposed image that is not broken, but this has been replaced with the 'right' fix in the latest image. Due to this, not too many landings happened in-between so the image test results are still not satisfactory. Too bad we weren't able to reach our completely-green image goal this week, but let's work hard to get to it next week. We're still expecting to land the greeter split landing. We're waiting for a final +1 from the testers. This e-mail will be followed up with a quick 'change of landing policy' announcement, introducing slightly stricter rules of regression handling and promotion consideration. It's a scheme discussed and agreed with both QA and upstreams - let's see how it works out.
