Hi all - thanks for the increase in testing traffic, and great to hear the feedback has been good so far.
One thing I wanted to point out, heading into the weekend. I updated the wiki with important information. Some packages were updated today & we'll have to wait for the teams to come back in on Monday to make updates (not a simple rebuild) But there are instructions for which image to use etc. and we'll continue to update that through Monday. thanks, kg On Thu, Jul 10, 2014 at 12:08 PM, Kevin Gunn <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks for testing Robert > easy to miss that "list of testers" is mentioned at the end of the intro > paragraph > > for sake of others might have skipped over, link is here > > https://docs.google.com/a/canonical.com/spreadsheets/d/1QcZOt9x_rY1m5d4NmmQ3FUjcWHKVoesMUv65Hm9VUK8/edit#gid=0 > > thanks again for testing > br,kg > > > On Thu, Jul 10, 2014 at 11:51 AM, Robert Park <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> On Thu, Jul 10, 2014 at 7:07 AM, Kevin Gunn <[email protected]> >> wrote: >> > Just a quick reminder. >> > Please take some time to test per >> > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Unity8/QtComp >> > >> > also, don't forget to add your name to list of testers (link in wiki) >> so we >> > can know how many people tried it out. >> >> Hm, maybe I'm having a duh moment, but I didn't see either a list of >> testers nor a link to anything that said "go here for the list of >> testers". >> >> Anyway, I installed this today and had a play around with it, >> everything seemed nice and smooth... rotation worked, toolbars worked, >> keyboard was dismissable, app switching was smooth, display blanked >> properly... all on nexus 4 at least. >> > >
