[Ubuntu-phone] USB Tethering

Has anyone been able to get usb tethering working reliably? I'm aware 
that the code is now in the image, but as of image 220 with 
devel-proposed on mako, I can't connect. Running "adb shell 
android-gadget-service enable rndis" disables mtp and makes my laptop 
try and attempt connection, however I'm not able to connect - just seems 
to go around trying to connect in a loop. I've tried both with 3g and 
wireless, no luck either time. Any thoughts here?
