Hey everyone,
we decided to take the very last chance to break the launcher's config
format without having to go through an upgrade path. This means that
with an upgrade coming to your devices soon, the Launcher's
configuration will be reset to its defaults.
But there's also good news to this: This change fixes a lot of issues in
the launcher and brings long awaited features with it: For instance it
will now be possible to temporarily add items to the launcher if they
require attention by setting the count emblem. The items will disappear
automatically again as soon as the count emblem is removed. Also it
fixes a bunch of long standing issues like automatically removing
uninstalled apps, properly handle click appids along with legacy app ids
etc.
