Hi all, good news.
We pushed a fixed image and brought system-image.ubuntu.com server is back online. This means you can happily upgrade on ubuntu-rtm/proposed to > #99 on krillin and > #83 on mako. Remember that it might take a while until your device sees and has downloaded that new version, so double check that you have these before hitting the "install" button in system settings. For those that ended up in bricked state (your device didnt boot anymore), please do the following to recover: 1. connect your phone to your ubuntu desktop/laptop 2. boot phone into recovery (on mako: 1. volup + power, 2. select recover and press power) 3. on desktop/laptop run ubuntu-device-flash --channel=ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09-proposed Thanks again for all that helped resurrecting this. Enjoy the rest of weekend with a working phone! - Alexander -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
