Is this due to lack of functionality at the moment, or is this a bug? It is a front-end that is lacking. Because PEAP authentication with WPA2 can already be made to work. Basically,most of what you need to do is edit the connection file. I have updated an earlier bug report on this on launchpad on how that worked for me.
