Hello everyone, Welcome everyone to our halloween landing special! ;) Today the landing gates are still closed for ubuntu-rtm, but we have another solid promotion candidate under testing. Yesterday's image revealed some problems which we had to get fixed to continue. That's why the promotion testing might take a bit longer - we expect that the final decision will be made on Monday. We want to make sure that the image we promote is of sufficient quality.
So far the image looks very promising, but let's see next week. It seems a lot of really good fixes made it in time, so it's an image worth waiting for. Remember: vivid landings are happening normally. In the meantime we are continuing our work on improving the landing documentation and the landing process itself. QA is doing a great work helping out in identifying possible automation problems.
