File a bug on Ubuntu App Launch: http://launchpad.net/ubuntu-app-launch Useful information would be what application it is trying to kill, clearly it's not succeeding in killing it. You should be able to find that with "initctl list" and see which applications are stopping. If you could put the whole list on the bug, I can deal with figuring out which is which. Thanks, Ted
