Are there any plans to develop Whisper Systems "Signal" application for
Ubuntu Touch?

I'm not a big user of apps on smartphones in general. But apps seem to
be the only way to get what IMHO should be the default setup for all
smartphones (but unfortunately is not): secure messaging and secure
phone calls.
Signal is the best solution I have found so far to provide this
essential service and it's open source. Love to see it on Ubuntu. It
would help Ubuntu Touch's circulation to have it as an app.
