Hello everyone, A busy Friday today, phew. QA finished testing our mako vivid images today and the end result is a bit worrying. A few serious blockers have been identified, some of them severe enough to actually block more detailed tests for certain components. Stability is a big problem as well [1]. All in all, there's a lot of work ahead of us all before we can get branch vivid as our new stable branch... Please check the blocker list below for the details regarding our current problems.
We are also preparing for adding a fix on top of our last promoted image. We have asked Colin and William to prepare a temporary series that we can use for this purpose, based off the snapshot of last week's promotion image. Nothing worrying for the users though. We still don't have ubuntu-rtm mako test results - still waiting for the upgrade of ubuntu-terminal-app in the custom tarball for this device. But vivid testing works properly, although it's far from being green.
