Hello everyone, We have closed the landing gates for ubuntu-rtm today as per our normal schedule. A new device tarball, a dialer-app landing and address-book-service have still made it for today, but the rest has been postponed to the next milestone. QA has decided that there's not enough time to properly test the big new oxide-qt release that has been prepared for ww07-2015.
We are currently building the promotion candidate image. QA will perform sanity testing on it, and tomorrow the regression test suite will be started. Fingers crossed for a quick release this time. From other news: we currently have problems with vivid image builds, which is why we didn't have a daily build this night. But Oliver is looking into that as we speak. With feature freeze nearing by, we'll have to once again fill in a blanket FFE for our touch components. I'll take care of that this week - but there will be a separate announcement for that.
