Hello everyone, Ubuntu-RTM testing continues! Yesterday we have produced the krillin image no. #234 (and its mako and x86 counterparts) and passed it off to QA. So far it passed sanity and most regression testing so things are looking really good. We'll have the full test report tomorrow, but we already got information that the pass-rate is slightly lower than before. All in all it seems we might have a Friday promotion.
This promotion will have one difference though. Normally we were promoting to the ubuntu-rtm/14.09 (or stable) channel, while this time the new image will be released to an RC channel instead. We are following a monthly 'main update' plan with a release candidate milestone every 2 weeks. More on this tomorrow. Vivid images are back up and running. The last image had a lot of interesting changes in it, with a new big Mir release (0.11) and the introduction of a opt-in QML cache further improving application launch time.
