Hello everyone, QA has sent out the full test report for vivid - we fetched the most blocking bugs and added them to the issue list below. We would need to get those fixed in the next 2 weeks, otherwise we won't be able to rebase ubuntu-rtm on vivid in time. The schedule is really tight... Make sure to browse through the most important ones from the list as soon as possible [1].
Please remember that starting Monday we will be gating vivid landings with the same QA sign-off procedures as for ubuntu-rtm. We will also only consider landing either product-team approved changes and bug/stability fixes. The landing team will default every landing as 'Requiring QA sign-off'. The current ubuntu-rtm stays in critical-bugfix mode. We try to clear out all the silos that are not planned on landing for ubuntu-rtm at this point of time, so apologies if your silo disappears - we will try to inform everyone once that happens. So far we only plan to generate one more RC image from 14.09 in 2 weeks, after which we hope to have a vivid-based ubuntu-rtm branch already prepared.
