Hi Pat, I've finally filed a bug [1] for this. I've done some initial investigation and it seems possible/likely that the issue is related to the thumbnailer service. The images in question are currently being loaded asynchronously, but our team may try to alleviate this problem by making use of Loaders for these Image components.
