Hello everyone, Friday is here. Everyone is preparing for the next weeks milestone image, with the final battery-drain fixes being prepared for ubuntu-rtm. We will follow the usual schedule for this release [1], with the target date for promotion on Thursday/Friday. Before promoting the image from RC to stable QA will do some additional OTA tests to make sure that upgrading from the last image is a smooth experience. We need to be super cautious now that our official Ubuntu Touch devices are live.
In the meantime, on the Qt 5.4.1 front, upstreams are still trying to identify the causes of the OSK regression. It seems the issue is a bit more complicated than it seemed originally and rebuilds were not enough. If no progress is made in the nearest days we might have to postpone 5.4.1 a bit - maybe until the branch-off of vivid to ubuntu-rtm happens. Have a nice weekend everyone!
