Hello everyone, Yesterday, after all target fixes have landed, we have built our first OTA-2 promotion candidate. QA started testing with the image passing initial sanity tests and looking rather good so far. Sadly, later testing revealed a regression in the wizard (power prompt not appearing) which we decided is not acceptable in an official OTA. Michael Terry already prepared a fix which QA will soon test and sign-off. We will build a new promotion candidate afterwards - QA will only re-test the system-settings/wizard elements.
All this essentially means that ubuntu-rtm landing gates are closed. Vivid images are back and working again, as already mentioned yesterday. If your phone has problems booting just be sure to re-flash it with the latest image from the devel channel. Ah, and the issue list clean-up is still in progress. Expect an updated list tomorrow.
