Hello everyone, QA had a busy day signing off silos for both vivid and ubuntu-rtm today. Many good fixes got in, some related to telephony, some fixes for flight mode, a new ubuntu-push and camera-app. Even new custom and device tarballs got signed-off. Everyone prepares for the next milestone - next week is the week of another OTA-2 and Alan already informed us about a new reminders-app and calculator-app around Monday. Good stuff.
The hard beta freeze has been lifted and the packages that were blocked in UNAPPROVED and -proposed could migrate successfully. We still have a lot of issues in our vivid touch images though. Please keep working on those! While talking about issues: one of the top-blocking crashes-on-start in unity8 has a fix prepared in a silo. The developers are still trying to deal with the autopilot regressions it's causing, but once they resolve those and silo 18 lands we should have one blocker less on our list once again. We know of progress on many other fronts as well. Keep up the good work guys!
