I have done a complete reset of the device, just to see how it works. Now the browser announces itself as : "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Ubuntu 14.04 like Android 4.4) AppleWebKit/537.36 Chromium/35.0.1870.2 Mobile Sa fari/537.36" . Previously no user agent string was recorded on my webserver log.
