Diverting landings from the Ubuntu archive to this ppa during the release freeze does not change the phone freeze guidelines. This ppa is for landing changes in preparation for the release of vivid-based stable OTA update to phone end users. While there may be landings of packages that are present on the desktop, this shouldn't cause any more disruption to the desktop than other recent landings have done, and the QA process should be the same as it has been in vivid proper. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
