Hello everyone, Happy release day! As everyone probably already read, the Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet desktop has now been released! Until 'w' is opened touch will continue its development through the overlay PPA - but for now restricted only to stability fixes as we are preparing for our RC testing.
One thing that's worth noting is that generally Ubuntu Touch does not follow the standard desktop release schedules. Even though currently the ubuntu-touch/devel(-proposed) channels are built from vivid, there is only one continuous devel track which continues to be our development focus unaffected by desktop cycles. If any of you are using the vivid (or vivid-proposed) channels, make sure you switch to devel (or devel-proposed) instead to be always up-to-date with current development. As announced earlier, we have now closed the landing gates for ubuntu-touch devel. We mentioned that there are some issues we still need to resolve before building an RC. We will kick a new devel-proposed image in a few hours though, but this will generally not be the image which we'd like to start tests on.
