Hello everyone, The RC testing has finished. QA found a few concerning issues, but in overall the state of vivid seems to be getting better with every day. The pass-rate is still worse than in ubuntu-rtm/14.09, but we're closer to a sane level than before. A few more fixes are landing as we speak. There was a new oxide released already that's fixing some of the webbrowser issues that QA found during their testing.
We will then switch our focus to the hotfix OTA. There are still some additional fixes that have been approved for landing for this archive and waiting in silos for sign-off. For instance, we have a fix for the scopes disappearing during updates from the store and some other goodies as well. From other news: tomorrow is a national holiday in my country so I will generally be off, but Robert will be around in the US timezone to handle pending landing requests. I will also try to provide bare minimum maintenance in the European timezone but only briefly.
