Hello everyone, Today Steve started doing clean-up in our ubuntu-touch channels. As per the new spec [1], the main change is that we will no longer provide per-ubuntu-series image channels. We need to have the flexibility of changing the underlying system seamlessly, without users having to switch to a different channel after a selected series is released. Once this is done, we will provide an useful list of all officially available channels with their descriptions.
Thanks to this we also finally have a channel that's building wily-based images. That being said, please remember that vivid will stay our focus for stable systems for the nearest time. Another information worth noting is that we will, most probably, be closing the landing gates for the end-of-month OTA-4 earlier than usually. The reason for that is that the QA team is having a sprint next week, which means in the coming days there might be less QA resources available due to travel and sprint-meetings. The preliminary plan is to lock the gates on Thursday next week already, but the final decision will be announced separately.
