I had an issue when flashing latest on mako but found out the error was related with my local key (refused to flash the rootfs because it was saying the signature was invalid). My issue is probably because I was flashing using another system-image server (for another device). After erasing .cache/ubuntuimages and flashing again, everything worked as expected.
