Hey, If you try to create an ubuntu touch emulator image based on vivid (ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/ubuntu) or wily, you will notice that unity8 will never start, and that you're also unable to reach it via adb.
After investigating it a bit more today, I fixed the adb issue (bug 1458043), and also opened 2 bugs for Unity8 not starting with latest image (it starts on image 135, but not fully functional).
