I use the earphones from my old Samsung S4 Mini [1]. Just like yours, audio works fine but the buttons do not. Maybe it's more of a software issue than a compatibility one, and we just need to open a ticket (but where?). Or maybe, since BQ doesn't sell earphones [2], there is no hardware support?
