Hello everyone, First of all, big thanks to all our users for the feedback on our recently released OTA-4. We're keeping a lookout on all the reported issue and trying to investigate all the severe ones. We tried to make as many tests as possible, but with such a big switch from 14.09 to vivid, there's simply no way to avoid all possible problems. We apologize for any inconveniences.
That being said, we are considering making a hotfix release (OTA-4.5) before OTA-5, similar to what we did last time. It's still under discussion, but there are already a few things we would like to get fixed ASAP. One of them is getting system-image up-to-date (thanks SturmFlut for noticing something is wrong!). Anyway, please be sure to fill in any bugs you see when using OTA-4. Another thing worth mentioning is: we still didn't promote the community channels (ubuntu-touch/stable/ubuntu) and the ubuntu-developer ones, but we'll be doing that shortly. We just need to do a few more checks before we proceed. Once again, big thanks to all the developers for all the hard work put into OTA-4!
