Hi Jim,
Thanks for your kind offer to look into this. I think, I figured out
what was wrong. I moved all the six videos to the phablet's home and
copied one after another again to ~/Videos/com.ubuntu.camera and tested
each time the app Galerie-->Fotos-->mediaplayer-app.
The problem is, that the videos (in contrast to pictures) only show up
in Galerie-->Fotos as a grey field with the triangle indicator showing,
that it is a video. There is no still picture, or not even the filename
for the six movies visible (I will file a bug issue). This way, one does
not know which of the six videos I took in the concert was behind which
icon. And one of the six videos is only 1 second long (my error in
grabbing) and perhaps I always tried this to play.
The others play fine.
