If you're on a Nexus 7, I'd recommend MultiROM Manager, althoguh I dn't know if ti's compatible with the very latest Android 5.1 updates. It does make installing Ubuntu seamless, although on the Nexus 7 I had to manually change the channel on the device after installation.
