Hello everyone, First promotion candidate has been built and is in QA's hands since last night. So far the images passed sanity testing for all the main platforms and the QA team is in progress of running the regression tests. As mentioned before, we will be performing some image re-spins - meaning this is not our final release candidate. Two required fixes already landed with two more in progress. Once one of them lands we will re-spin the candidate, with QA re-running tests for the affected areas.
As per the announcement we also opened up the vivid-overlay landing gates. This means developers can continue landing stable features but not targeted for OTA-6 anymore. Since we have a snapshot state of the current milestone packages we could at least open up and not block landers from working on future fixes. Anyway, so far so good.
