Hello everyone, As announced earlier, OTA-6 is now out! Not for all platforms, as we need to wait with all BQ devices till next week for BQ to be able to perform their internal QA on the candidate before release. The phasing is still in progress, so still some time needs to pass before the update reaches all users. But so far so good.
I would like to once again thank all the developers, QA engineers and translators that helped this release to happen. Next stop - OTA-7 in ~6 weeks. We might do a hot-fix release in-between though, OTA-6.5, since there are a few annoying bugs we weren't able to get fixed in time. The decision is still not certain, but there is a high probability of that happening. In the meantime rc-proposed overlay-ppa daily-images have been re-enabled. We will also release ubuntu-developer images next week along with the krillin and vegetahd devices. For OTA-7 there's even more goodies planned, with things like vibration/accelerometer access in webapps, new scope features and a lot of convergence additions.
