OK maybe this is a ridiculous question, but... Is it actually possible to play video files on Ubuntu Touch? If so, how are you supposed to do that?
Here's what I'm trying: * I scp'd over a bunch of movies I'd like to watch and put them in /home/phablet/Videos. * I looked in the "Apps" scope for something that looks like it plays movies. Found nothing. * So I open "File Manager". * I tap on "Videos" and then on one of my movie files. * I'm invited to "Open with" and the only option is Gallery. * I tap on "Gallery" and I get a mostly blank page with "AUG 2015 29", "AUG 2015 26", a spinner, and nothing else. * After a couple of minutes it's filled in with my photos. * The end. I can scroll down and eventually find a video I shot myself. If I tap on that it opens a static preview image. Then if I click on the play button it opens a thing called "Media Player" which does not appear in the Apps scope. A media player is what I was looking for in the first place, but this Media Player doesn't have any option to list or navigate to other videos. I guess it literally is just a pop up video window rather than an actual Media application. What am I missing here?
