Hello everyone, Some excitement at this end of the week for the Landing Team. We had a lot of different releases today, one of which resulted in the mako unity8 crashing on start. The affecting UITK landing has been reverted so for now things should be back and working. We also had a new powerd improving screen blanking handling, webbrowser-app with a webview renderer crash fix and a whole pack of packages related to the buteo contact sync feature. To make sure buteo doesn't cause any issues with data migration on upgrade, we have kicked a new rc-proposed image with this change to give QA the possibility of testing on live images.
Another change that landed was the new requested lxc-android-config + ubuntu-system-settings landing to disable autoreport of crashes on stable images by default. This seemed to cause a lot of slowdowns/hangups without much pros. Still some changes are piled up for next week. We are also continuing the research to resolve the upstart-watchdog potential bootloop edge-case. We should have a workable solution on Monday.
