Hello everyone, Another great batch of fixes landing into the overlay today. The developers prepared for us: a new oxide-qt fixing some display-blanking issues and others, ubuntu-system-settings with update-notification changes, camera-app, click-scope, a new Unity8 (+ all sub-components - too many fixes to mention here), a new gsettings-qt with the dim timeout gsettings fix and gallery-app. If you want to know more about what changes those packages brought in, please check out our commitlogs or the changes mailing lists. Also, seeing those changes, right now possibly all of our core-apps are using UITK 1.3 components which is a good sign - core-apps should generally use the latest tools available.
We remind everyone that next week is the OTA-8 preparation week. There will be generally almost no overlay freeze this time, not counting a short moment for snapshot and image preparation - but please remember that QA will be busy with candidate testing so silo sign-off might take longer than usual.
