In some senses, focusing in on (Toy-Town) apps just plays into Apple's
Wizard-of-Oz: that a phone's only any good if there's a zillion apps in
the app store to choose from. A simple Internet search throws up the top
50 apps... It's more about functionality though, it seems to me*. I want
to congratulate people on the recent developments within the browser.
For political reasons I've started taking privacy seriously. I wonder if
Tor (I know they're closed source) could be persuaded to work with your
browser as they did with Firefox? And on the subject of Mozilla - really
bad news about Thunderbird...

Oops, I think I wanted to write: "It wouldn't make a favorable picture [...]"
I meant, it could cause Canonical look like begging for support (kind
of: because they run out of money), and that's what marketing probably
wouldn't want. So, really, in the light of Firefox OS *sigh* we users
should take care of our personal killer apps become reality.
Is there a list of "most wanted apps" for Ubuntu phone somewhere?
Maybe something where we can still vote on? -- That could then be a
starting point to kick off some crowdfunding campaigns.
