Hello everyone, Things are looking good - our final OTA-9 candidate image passed preliminary tests and now entered the final stage. This release we should make it on time without any delays: thanks to the new schedule QA had more time to test and developers more time to react to the regressions found. Good work everyone!
We sent the current dates for two nearest updates as a separate e-mail - be sure to check that one out if you're interested. In the meantime, some more rc-proposed landings happening today: a new mediaplayer-app with translation template fixes, webbrowser-app (auto-focus address-bar in wide mode, block from opening multiple app instances and other fixes) and a sync of libpinyin from xenial. We hope to have more later in the week. Also, since today is Monday, QA also checked the state of devel-proposed for a weekly devel promotion. The situation is still the same: images not really usable besides for development, but that's the expected state for now. This might get a bit better with time once the delta between rc and devel gets smaller [1]. Cheers!
