My last day in the BlueFin office will be Friday the 12th of February 2016. Some of you may have heard about my departure already so I will try not to bore you too much. Let me start with: I absolutely love Ubuntu and I am immensely proud of my association with it. It has been incredible designing ans seeing the OS develop. What a ride it has been... Le me start with a special appreciation message to the SDK and Telephony guys, you know who you are and you simply rock. The amount of work (hell of a lot!), hangouts, sprints, debates, fun and alcohol we consumed together would put a lot of people to shame. So well bloody done surviving that! :D On a more serious note, I think you guys are the best and most committed in your fields and I wish you continued success. I would also thank all other dedicated engineering & community teams who I ever dealt with. You guys are the backbone of this company and deserve everyones deepest respect. When I started at Canonical about 2,5y ago I had little idea what I got myself into. The start in the Design Team was shaky, the learning curve was steep, the work more than challenging at times but also immensely rewarding and never EVER boring! I had the privilege working on the Ubuntu Phone and being part of the Ubuntu Touch launch which I will never forget. Thank you to everyone I dealt with for making it awesome and I hope to cross paths with many of you in the future. See you soon...
