Hello everyone, More velocity today. A new platform-api (performance improvements), telephony-service (audio and video support for MMS for OTA-10) and a big messaging-app release (too many changes to list here) have landed in the overlay-ppa. Some good stuff for OTA-10 for sure.
We remind everyone about our overlay-changes mailing list. It's very useful for tracking new package releases [1]. Also, some additional good news now - we defined the plans for releasing the mir critical fix for all of our phone users. We will be preparing a hotfix release with only a really small selected number of packages starting next week with a target release date of a release in 2 weeks. This release, let's call it OTA-9.1, will basically include the fix for the annoying crasher on incoming calls that's been a menace for all of our users (+ some security fixes). We are preparing the snapshot PPA already in preparation for next week already.
