I am super excited about the announcement of the Meizu Pro 5 and I know
that it will be my next personal phone :)
One important detail about the hw spec made me think about our UI skins.
AMOLED displays as many of you know do consume dramatically different
amount of power depending on the color and the brightness used on the
screen. A pitch black background with a digital clock and some small
info graphics consumes very little power. That enables us to be more
creative with the screen then just dimming it off. Also, using black
background for apps and scopes or at least dark colors would increase
battery time of devices with AMOLED display.
I would be very happy if we would have such theme and lock screen for
this fantastic device.
