Hello everyone, Final days before OTA-10 feature freeze with still a few features in flight. In overall landing-wise, today we had: a new telephony-service (messaging fixes), a new messaging-app (tweaks to voice messaging), bugfixes for ubuntu-system-settings-online-accounts, new content-hub and a deadlock fix for media-hub. Let's see where we're at tomorrow.
With the nearest images we will also be including a few new apps by default in our images: uNav, Dekko and eventually - calendar-app. Most of you probably, like me, have those installed already so there will be no visible change here, but it's good to know those will be added to our official batch of core-apps. As a final note, a small warning to those using rc-proposed: we noticed some regressions regarding translations in the nightly images. We might be reverting to last-weeks language packs in case the root cause is not identified soon, but it seems at least ubuntu-system-settings got affected and might have lost translations (not sure if anything else). It's on our plate so a fix should be available before the weekend.
