I filed a CR (Change Request) as https://bugs.launchpad.net/dekko/+bug/1557136 Dekko should allow via options to configure: a) if the message has a part of text/plain this should be presented as default and not the part of type text/html; the latter should only be presented on additional user action; b) if the message is only of type text/html or if the user requests the rendering of the additional part of type text/html, it should be rendered to UTF-8 text as, for example, the browser 'lynx' does for terminals; the rational of both requests is, that the rendering of HTML (actually done as default) should NOT trigger additional HTTP requests with the risk of pulling in malware, spyware or the user tracked already only with the HTTP request (i.e. "user opened mail"); HIH matthias -- Matthias Apitz, ✉ g...@unixarea.de, ⌂ http://www.unixarea.de/ ☎ +49-176-38902045 Bundeswehr: Wir.Dienen.Deutschland. - Wir.Machen.Krieg.
